Saturday 26th of February 2011: Eva and Irene

29 weeks and 1 day.

Lunch and stroll in Seville with friends. Eva´s friend Irene is also pregnant, in the 19th week. Amazing weather, some +24 C in the shadow! In my village in Åkroken they had MINUS 30 C last Monday!!

Almuerzo y paseito en Sevilla con amigas. La amiga de Eva, Irene, también está embarazada, de unas 19 semanas. Hacía un tiempo increible, unos +24 C a la sombra. Pensando que en mi pedania en Åkroken estaban a 30 bajo cero el lunes pasado...

Another week, 11 weeks to go... Eva is just fine, some heartburn at night but nothing serious. She is getting heavier and heavier though and the stairs in our house are becoming a problem: 4th floor without elevator...

Today we picked up the bath tub and also a travel bag we ordered. We really like the products from HOPPOP:

But the colour we wanted for the tub and the bag (green) were really, really hard to find! We have been looking for the greens ones for 2 months and finally we managed to find them, in San José de la Rinconada (a village some 30 km from Seville), at the shop "La Ciudad del Bebé". 87 days left: Friday 18th of February 2011 - The Baby Carriage!

28 weeks of pregnancy

7 months today! Getting a little closer every day! Huge step today when we picked up the pram/baby carriage! Thanks to Eva´s brother who bought us this masterpiece!

When we took it out of the package it seemed like a machine from another planet... And it took us some good 3-4 hours to mount everything and put all the things in the right places. Of course we found all parts, except from the User Manual... It was well hidden inside the chair (bastards!). Well, know we have 2 months to practice and mount and dismount all the parts!

94 days left: Friday 11th of February 2011

27 weeks of pregnancy (173 days): 94 days left. I had to adjust the "days left", I was 4 days ahead of schedule...

173 days have passed since the 23rd of August 2010. I always thought that time flies (after I became 21) but now time is creeping at snails pace. 94 days seems to be an eternity...

But we are having an incredible time during the pregnancy, we are so happy! And Eva is more beautiful than ever with the belly!

Thursday 10th of February 2011: Inauguration of Route 66 in Sevilla Este

Today our friend Luis and his partners inaugurated the American Restaurant "ROUTE 66" in Sevilla Este. Nice concept and amazing opening hours: open for meals all day (not common in Seville). I also look forward to taste those Margaritas at an afterwork. Happy Hour between 17:00-20:00 every day (Mon-Fri).

Today we went to the gypsy market at Parque Alcosa and we bought this butterfly for Amelia.

26 weeks and 1 day.

This morning Amelia was hyperactive! Amazing kicks and blows at 08:00 am in the morning. I´m still amazed about feeling the kicks and blows inside the belly but Eva is not as happy as me... Eventhough she is getting used to the "interior activity" and is able to get much more sleep now.

I keep on singing and talking in Swedish, one can not start too early with the language learning!

Visit to the hospital - Santa Angela de la Cruz (ViaMed) - Friday 4th of February 2011

Friday 4th of February 2011: 26 weeks of pregnancy; 98 days left.

Since we were informed that our gynaecologist and her team DO NOT attend at Sagrado Corazón any longer and that we will now give birth at Santa Angela de la Cruz, we had to make a visit to this hospital. We didn´t even know it existed...

So today Friday we went for a visit and WOW, this cannot get much better! The hospital is completely new, opened in August 2010. We were taken on a guided tour by one of the staff and now we know how everything looks like and were we have to go. The rooms are great and I´m happy to know that I will be able to stay with the girls all the time since there´s an extra bed!

Thursday 3rd of February 2011 - Flamenco Fashion at SIMOF 2011

Today we were invited to SIMOF 2011 and the fashion show of Vicky Martín Berrocal. Very nice. Afterwards a glass of wine and mingling with "la creme de la creme", nice...
